All members of our local and wider communities are welcome to drop in and recycle their small household items with us for FREE!
First Tuesday of every month from 4:00pm until 5:30pm
Recycling the following items with Smyrna will help raise funds that will be used for the building as well as some crafting projects:
- Household Batteries: 6V, D, C, AA, AAA, 9V and Button Batteries.
- Writing Implements: Pens, mechanical pencils, fountain pens and their cartridges, highlighters, markers, felt pens, paint pens, correction instruments (both tape and fluid pots).
- Ink Cartridges: Printhead and non-printhead types, any brand including ones used for franking machines. We do not accept laser toner cartridges.
- Reusable Gift Bags: The Amazon-style gift bags are great for repurposing.
Our highest demand sizes are:
- -29cm x 23.5cm approx.
- -37cm x 26cm approx.
But we still accept other sizes too.
Please remove the tag and ensure they are clean and in good condition.
- Other items: Occasionally, we may ask for additional items over a shorter period of time, please check our Social Media for details.
An open door event, no need to book, just turn up.
